In Color

Please keep in mind when you view my watercolor paintings that I am a rank beginner with absolutely no lessons or schooling of any type in that medium.
I'm fairly certain that I'm not following the rules of watercolor painting, but I love to paint as a break from drawing.
It is such a release - the freedom to paint so loosely without having to conform to conventions or rules.
I say that as a realistic artist, but with my watercolors, I like the term 'interpretive' instead of 'abstract'. ;)
The above can also be said for my oil pastels. ^^
