Face

This is the results from one of my frequent experiments. Having no formal schooling, you see, I have to experiment around with different things to see what will work and what won't. Well, this is a bit unusual, I know, but what I was doing here was grinding up very old dried out wood to a fine powder, (wishing I had an actual mortar and pestle), and added a bit of mineral oil. I think if I could've gotten the wood a bit finer, it would've mixed better, but as it turned out, it was still a bit chunky to use as an actual pigment and dried, the wood brushes off the paper - I would probably have to spray it.

I added this face I blotched on the paper plate to my site, 'cause even though the experiment didn't work out, I thought this was still pretty cool. The actual size is 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" using a cheap craft brush.
