Best Buds

This drawing was finished on Feb. 24, 2000 in graphite for my display at the local Art Assoc.'s store for sale. It was a bit of a challenge in the fact that raccoons have very course fur and that is kind of hard to get with pencil for me, and the pine needles offered their own unique challenges. Raccoons are pretty common in my area, and they are cute if not sort of a nuisance to many people.
