Little Boy Blue

This is a portrait of my middle child, Alaric. It was a really nice day out, so we went out in the front yard, me armed with my camera. When I saw this photo, I thought it would make a nice drawing in colored pencil. Somewhat amazingly, I used just 13 colors in the whole picture and they were very generic pencils. I finished this May, 13,2000.
