Another photo I saw and just HAD to draw! I am so lucky to have friends that take great photos of their beautiful children and are nice enough to let me try and capture them on paper.
Finished 08-11-04 in graphite on Bristol. Size is 14 x 17.
I plan on entering this in the Fall 2004 show. I hope fervantly I can do well with this one as I put a background on it and I usually don't do backgrounds and I'm afraid it might be too busy!
Update: I didn't place in the Fall show with either of my entries, much to my disappointment. All the winners in Professional and Nonprofessional were landscapes. ~ugh~ The spring show winner was a portrait. You just never know.. Anyway, I will continue to try my hardest to get better.
