Bubbles

Commissioned Christmas gift. This has a sort of funny story behind it. I was working on it and for some reason, the drawing was not cooperating with me at all, so instead of tossing it and starting again, like I normally would; in my frustration, I took a piece of soft stick graphite and scribbled it all in solid black. Soft graphite gets VERY black. Well, I was messing around with it and decided to see what would happen if I took my rubber eraser and pulled some of the black back out. Well, sometimes good things come out of bad situations. See my messed up version of this drawing here.
The one above is the second go at it, and more in line with my usual style. :) Finished 11-2004 Graphite on 5x7 Bristol
